I am a ski racer, that is what I have been my whole life. Anything else someone describes me as would be incorrect, ski racing is what I live for. I have dedicated my whole life to being the fastest racer I can be and finally accomplished a huge goal at the end of the 2009 season, I earned a spot on the United States Ski Team. So what did I do? I chose to take an athletic scholarship and pursue my education at the same time as I stride toward my ski racing goals as a University of Utah Fighting Ute. Unfortunately, the reason I started this blog is not to keep everyone up to date on my racing, but to keep everyone in the loop on my recovery... that's right, RECOVERY. I tore my ACL during our second NCAA race of the 2010 season and here I plan to document the battle I have sitting ahead of me. I will keep you up to date on the accomplishments, milestones, great times, and the hard times.
